Bus Accident Claims
If you have been injured in a road traffic accident involving a bus, or have been injured as a passenger when taking a bus, you could be eligible to claim bus accident compensation.
When a bus driver causes an injury to a passenger or road user, a claim for bus accident compensation can often be made. As with all personal injury compensation claims, bus accident compensation can only be claimed if certain criteria are met. In order to claim bus injury compensation, a personal injury must have been suffered which was of a severity sufficient to have required medical attention.
There must also have been third party negligence, be that the negligence of the bus driver or another road user. Negligence is a failure in a duty of care, either to you as a passenger or as a road user. Negligence of the bus driver could be by driving too fast and not being able to stop in time to avoid an accident or from driving without due care and attention. If it can be proven that a bus driver or another third party has been negligent, it should be possible to claim bus accident compensation.
